Kuala Lumpur, 30th June: In honouring the holy month of Ramadan Kareem and in line with the upcoming Aidil Fitri celebrations, Perodua is extending a helping hand to some 200 homeless people located in the country’s capital city.

On 28th June, Perodua together with 20 of its volunteers distributed essential items consisting of sleeping bags, towels, socks, slippers and food to the homeless through key locations within Kuala Lumpur.

The areas covered are nearby SEGI College Kuala Lumpur, Persiaran Maybank, Masjid Negara and Kota Raya.

“We hope our small yet significant contribution would help ease the hardships faced by the homeless and will help to further brighten their celebration this Aidil Fitri,” Perodua President & CEO, YBhg Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

The Perodua team also brought 11 homeless children to shop for hari raya outfits and followed by a berbuka puasa meal.

Prior to that, the kids were taken to Balai Bomba Taman Tun Dr Ismail to experience a mock fire rescue.

“We will continue with similar activities because at Perodua, “You Matter Most.”” Aminar said.
