Perodua Aruz launched in Singapore

Singapore, 13 Apr: The Perodua Aruz has officially entered its first overseas market – Singapore. At launch, it is priced at SGD92,999 (RM286,409*), inclusive of Goods and Services Tax and Certificate of Entitlement (COE).

“The Aruz’s arrival in Singapore marks the first seven-seater offered by Perodua in the island nation,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

“With nearly 58,000 units sold in Malaysia since its debut in 2019, the Perodua Aruz was Malaysia’s best-selling SUV overall in 2019 and 2020. We are looking forward to sharing the Aruz’s space, safety, versatility, durability, practicality and fuel efficiency with our southern neighbours,” he added.

The Perodua Aruz’s aluminium-block 1.5 litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine joins forces with an electronically-controlled automatic transmission and Eco Idle to yield a rated fuel efficiency of up to 15.6 km/l.

Its versatility comes courtesy of 60:40-split second and 50:50-split third rows that can be slid, folded and tumbled for a multitude of seating and loading configurations. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), ISOFIX and six airbags contribute to a full five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating.

Other standard equipment include LED headlamps, 17-inch two-tone alloys, keyless entry and start, and a touch-screen infotainment system with reverse camera display.

The Perodua Aruz is sold by Perocom Auto Pte Ltd at their sole outlet in Ubi. The sole authorised Perodua distributor in Singapore since 1997, Perocom Auto has sold the Kancil, Kembara, Kelisa, first-and third-generation Myvis, Viva, Axia and Bezza there.

Besides Singapore, Perodua also exports to Brunei, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the Seychelles, Fiji and Indonesia (where the Myvi is sold as the Daihatsu Sirion).

Singapura, 13hb Apr: Perodua Aruz telah memasuki pasaran eksport pertamanya – Singapura – dengan harga pada masa pelancaran SGD92,999 (RM286,409*), termasuk Cukai Barangan dan Perkhidmatan (GST) dan Certificate of Entitlement (COE).

“Aruz merupakan kenderaan tujuh-tempat duduk pertama yang ditawarkan oleh Perodua di Singapura,” kata Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perodua Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

“Dengan jualan hampir 58,000 unit di Malaysia sejak pelancarannya pada 2019, Perodua Aruz merupakan SUV terlaris di Malaysia pada 2019 dan 2020.

“Kami berbesar hati dapat berkongsi kelebihan Aruz – antaranya ruang yang luas, tahap keselamatan yang tinggi, serba boleh, praktikal dan cekap bahan api – dengan jiran selatan kita,” tambah beliau.

Enjin empat-silinder 1.5 liter Dual VVT-i dengan blok aluminium bergabung dengan transmisi automatik kawalan elektronik dan Eco Idle untuk memberi kecekapan bahan api sehingga 15.6 km/l.

Barisan tempat duduk kedua yang dibahagi 60:40 serta barisan ketiga yang dibahagi 50:50 boleh dilaras, dilipat dan digolek untuk menghasilkan pelbagai konfigurasi. Kawalan Kestabilan Kenderaan (VSC), ISOFIX dan enam beg udara menyumbang kepada penarafan keselamatan 5-bintang ASEAN NCAP.

Kelengkapan lain termasuk lampu hadapan LED, rim aloi dwi-tona 17-inci, kemasukan dan penghidup enjin tanpa kunci, serta sistem infotainment skrin sesentuh dengan paparan kamera undur.

Perodua Aruz dijual oleh Perocom Auto Pte Ltd di pusat jualan dan servisnya di Ubi. Pengedar sah Perodua yang tunggal di Singapura sejak 1997, Perocom Auto telah menjual Kancil, Kembara, Kelisa, Myvi generasi pertama dan ketiga, Viva, Axia dan Bezza di sana.

Selain Singapura, Perodua juga mengeksport ke Brunei, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Seychelles, Fiji dan Indonesia (di mana Myvi dijual sebagai Daihatsu Sirion).
