Rawang, 22 July: Perodua has successfully held its first-ever Body & Paint (B&P) Skill Contest in a move to step up its human capital development efforts and provide higher standards of B&P service to its customers.
Established in 2009, Perodua’s B&P business deals with the repair and restoration of vehicles that have been involved in collisions. It accepts cash payments as well as assists customers with insurance claims.

Rawang, 8 July: Not willing to let its Road Safety Programme decelerate with the end of the Raya season, Perodua is collaborating with the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) to push the road safety envelope for its circa-8,500 staff who commute to and from its headquarters in Sungai Choh.
Perodua this afternoon hosted the launch of PERKESO’s National ‘Safe Driving to Workplace’ Campaign 2019, which was attended by Human Resources Minister YB M Kula Segaran, Chief Secretary to the Human Resources Ministry YBhgDato’ Amir Omar, PERKESO Chief Executive YBhgDato’ Sri Dr Mohammed AzmanDato’ Aziz Mohammed and Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer YBhgDato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

Rawang, 2 July: In a move to stifle the growth of imitation products and parts in the market, Perodua took the initiative by hosting an engagement session with enforcement officers from the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), at its Sungai Choh headquarters yesterday.
“Perodua is aware of the circulation of non-genuine products and parts that bear Perodua branding in the market, some of which are almost indistinguishable from the originals. These include lubricants, oil filters, shock absorbers and brake pads,” said Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin.

Victoria, 28 June: Perodua has officially launched the Axia in the Seychelles, marking the brand’s debut in the country, a popular tourist destination consisting of a cluster of islands off the African continent.

Singapore, 15 Apr: The third-generation Perodua Myvi has been officially launched in Singapore. Two variants are available, 1.3 X AT and 1.5 H AT, priced at SGD64,800 (RM197,093) and SGD69,800 (RM212,301) respectively, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax and the Certificate of Entitlement (COE).
The launch event was held last Saturday at Perocom Auto Pte Ltd’s outlet in Ubi, attracting some 250 customers. Perocom Auto is the sole authorised Perodua distributor in Singapore.

Sandakan, 22 March: The Perodua Aruz TransBorneo Convoy, a convoy of six units of the Perodua Aruz across East Malaysia, took the opportunity whilst in Sandakan yesterday to bring some cheer to the residents of Al-Yakin Orphanage.
Perodua contributed RM5,000 cash to the orphanage’s 20 children and five caretakers before treating them all to a hearty lunch.

Conducted by AucNation Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company with Automobile Inspection System Inc., Japan (AIS), the course covers accurate analyses of the condition of used or traded-in vehicles to determine which exterior or interior parts need replacing or refurbishing.

Bintulu, 17 March: The Perodua Aruz TransBorneo Convoy, a convoy of six units of the Perodua Aruz across East Malaysia, is underway, and on the second day of the journey, the convoy stopped by Rumah Clement Bayang to contribute much-needed essentials to the 20 families living there.
Assisted by local Perodua sales and service dealer Otostabil Sdn Bhd, Perodua gave the 100 or so residents of Rumah Clement Bayang rice, chocolate malt beverages, cooking oil and first aid kits, worth around RM3,000 in all.
